SCHOOL HISTORY
The school was formed in August of 2005 by Ricardo Acosta and Lota Acosta in a converted two car garage to a classroom. It was approvad as the Training Site by American Heart Association and American Safety & Health Institute as the Training Center (ID FIRS51). The school offered Basic Life Support (BLS) and Heartsaver First Aid standards. On October 2006 the school was approved by National Healthcareer Association (Test Site code TX46) to nationally certify student for Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) and Certified EKG Technician (CET). On November 2006, they moved to a bigger classroom which is now located in Trimmier road. On June 2008 First Response Medical Training, LLC (S3129) is approved as Career Schools and Colleges for the State of Texas.
